Umesh Chandra IPS Trust
Friends and former classmates of Umesh Chandra have established
a public trust. The trustees are people who have worked with Umesh
Chandra for the betterment of society.
Excerpts from the Trust Deed provide
information on the trustees and the activities planned. All
activities are based on contributions to the Trust fund.

U/S 80G of IT Act 1961.

Trust Activities
Even before the Trust was formally established, parents, siblings
and friends of Umesh Chandra participated in several activities that
the Trust expects to foster.
- Family and friends established gold medals for outstanding
academic performance in Economics, and overall outstanding performance
in Umesh Chandra's alma mater: The Hyderabad Public School.
- Family contributed to the construction of an operation theatre in
the Police Lines hospital in Cuddapah.
- Family contributed to the construction of a Maternity ward in the
police hospital in Warangal.
- Family established gold medals for outstanding academic performance
in two colleges in Tenali: NVR College and VSR College.
- Family distributed clothes to the poor in the village of Kuchipudi,
where Umesh Chandra spent his summers.
- Family contributed monies to the Karimnagar Kala Samithi for the
purchase of wheelchairs.
